Who is the person you feel closest to in your family and what makes you close to that person?

Are you still close to that person today?

How close/distant have you become in recent years?

What do you do to keep your relationship with this person good?

Does your close relationship with this person positively impact your daily life?

When we look at the history of the modern family, we see that they were unions for land purposes at the very beginning. In order to protect the land, the family lived together. We also see that compared to animals, the human offspring has a longer developmental period, i.e. the time it needs parental support.

Families today are not as large as they used to be. They are smaller, sometimes even reduced to one parent. Nevertheless, the main idea of the family is the same. To protect and support each other.

A healthy family includes individuals who support each other unconditionally and always support each other. In a troubled family, even though this structure is disrupted, the fact remains that the parents strive for their children for many years. Of course, this time spent together significantly impacts your development, outlook on life, and current state of mind.

Today we will not talk about the troubled family. But even in a troubled family, it is important to get to the root of the problem, to be constructive, and to examine the impact of the problems on your thoughts.

Moving on to the unproblematic family, you may not feel the same closeness to everybody. The question today is who you feel closest to. Can you share everything with this person and if not, why not? Is there an important reason for your hesitation?

If you share everything, does this person give you strength? Do you feel that he/she is always there for you? In the same way, do you support this person and stand by him/her at all times?

It is important for self-confidence that you always feel supported and have people who are there for you in your weakest and happiest moments. Even if you don’t share your darkest secrets, knowing that someone is there for you unconditionally, even when you feel the weakest, will make the steps you take in your life clearer and stronger. Of course, this is a two-sided relationship, even if we talk about unconditional support. Therefore, it is important to reflect on your relationship with the people in your family, to make an effort to make it better, to share, to make new memories together. In this way, you will discover how lucky you are for each family member you have.
