Imagine that your memories are gone and you have no clue about your past. Would you be the person you are now?

yes?

Think again. All you experienced, saw, heard, learned, knew… all are gone. Your family, friends, kids, first kiss, first love, marriage, first job, and all the time you spent with loved ones. everything…

Correct! You would not! (I guess). You would be different although your essence is the same. I think that there is only one difference between losing your entire memory and death. Therefore, the past is the most important element of identity.

What are the memories that you never forget? Are there some points that you completely changed? If yes, write them down and think about how they affected you.

Which moment would you go to if you could return to a specific moment in your past? Why is that moment so important for you? What are the things that you remember as positive or negative in your past? Are there some moments that you see in your nightmares? Why?

All these questions are the ones we need to ask ourselves and face. Yes, I face myself as a hobby. Facing is my favorite word.

We need to face this because many problems we encounter now, and many good things we enjoy now are the result of our past. Facing makes our present time better.

The last question: Do you agree that your past has a big impact on today?
